Mohamed Salah struck for the visitors before Julian Alvarez, Kevin De Bruyne, Ilkay Gundogan and Jack Grealish all scored for City.
And Opta reports their four shots at the Etihad Stadium was the lowest they've had in a Premier League game since a 4-0 defeat to Tottenham back in September 2011.
The Reds only had three shots in that game as Emmanuel Adebayor scored twice, whilst Luka Modric and Jermain Defoe also found the net.
