Liverpool are scouting VfB Stuttgart striker Raul Paula.
The 19 year-old has attracted attention from Reds scouts after scoring six goals in nine games for VfB so far this season.
Paula is also a German youth international.
The Guardian's Ed Aarons reports Brighton are also watching the youngster:
"Understand that Brighton and Liverpool have been scouting Germany Under 18 midfielder Raul Paula. He has six goals and two assists in the last nine games for Stuttgart's reserve side."
