Liverpool have not yet decided how they will respond to a formal offer for Mohamed Salah from Saudi Arabia in the winter.
The Reds are in the midst of a very good start to the season, as they chase Premier League and Europa League glory.
However, journalist Fabrizio Romano admits the club may face a conundrum if a huge offer for Salah arrives in the New Year.
He told his Here We Go podcast: "From what I'm told, Liverpool will retain the same position in the January transfer window.
"Liverpool have no intention of letting Mo Salah leave in January.
With crazy money, anything can happen, but as of right now, Liverpool have the same position."
