Liverpool defender Joel Matip has undergone knee surgery.
Matip suffered an ACL injury a fortnight ago and underwent an operation yesterday.
The stopper had made 14 appearances in 2023-24 to date his eighth season with the club and passed the 200 mark overall for Liverpool.
No timescale is currently being placed on his recovery.
Matip's contract expires in June.
