Liverpool defender Sepp van den Berg has revealed that another year out on loan may do him good.
The 21-year-old has been with Schalke 04 in the Bundesliga since the summer.
Despite several injury problems causing him issues, van den Berg did impress against Werder Bremen last week.
Asked about his season, he stated: In the two games against Bremen and Mainz alone I gained great experience.
But the Bundesliga is a great opportunity for me.
If Schalke want to keep me, I'm definitely open to staying."
