Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk says he's been impressed by new teammate Darwin Nunez.
Nunez scored and won a penalty on debut in yesterday's Community Shield victory over Manchester City.
Van Dijk told VG: "Nunez is direct, fast and strong. He is a modern striker, like (Erling) Haaland. They have similar qualities. He is difficult to play against.
"For example, he must not look at what you all think about a match he is playing. He must focus on himself, on the team and adapt as soon as possible.
"You have to learn in training, from the matches you play and not look at what others say about your performance. That is the key to success."
