Liverpool have eased concerns about Ben Doak's condition after the forward collapsed on the pitch following a head clash in their UEFA Youth League match against Sporting Lisbon on Tuesday.
Doak, 17, fell to the floor after jumping for a header with Sporting defender Joao Muniz, and needed immediate medical attention.
He was substituted straight away, but Under-19 manager Barry Lewtas gave a positive update on the youngster after the game.
"Ben is OK. He couldn't continue but our medical staff got to him quickly," Lewtas said.
"He was on the pitch at the end with the lads and we will keep him closely monitored."
