Liverpool are considering bringing back an old face from their behind the scenes team.
The Reds could be contemplating a return for former sporting director Michael Edwards.
Per The Mail, FSG president Mike Gordon called Edwards over the weekend to ask him about returning to the club.
The Reds believe that Edwards could be influential in another role for the team, not as a sporting director.
However, Edwards is happy with his current situation and wants new challenges, rather than going back.
He has been linked to jobs at Chelsea and Manchester United, but has not committed to any team.
