Liverpool fans sang an emotional rendition of ‘You'll Never Walk Alone’ in a moving tribute to Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva ahead their opening Premier League clash against Bournemouth.
Anfield was a sea of banners, flags and scarves as supporters honoured the late forward, who died in a car crash along with brother Andre Silva in Spain on 3 July after a suspected tyre blowout.
Jota played for Liverpool for the past five seasons, winning the Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup, and the club has retired his No. 20 shirt number.
