The Reds were comfortable 4-0 winners against the Foxes.
Darwin Nunez (30), Bobby Clark (35) and Diogo Jota (38) all struck before halftime. Ben Doak then rounded out the scoring midway through the second-half.
Dominik Szoboszlai returned to action in the second-half for Liverpool after an injury doubt this week.
Liverpool now look forward to a meeting with Bayern Munich back at the same venue on Wednesday.
