The Egyptian was on international duty, as he and his Pharaohs teammates won 2-0 against Sierra Leone.
In the game that was marred by incident, a spectator appeared to get onto the field and head in Salah's direction around the 89th minute.
Another person also entered the ground within seconds, but he was halted by Salah's Egypt teammate Mohamed Abdelmonem.
Salah has been enjoying a very productive international period, as he scored four in a 6-0 win over Djibouti on Thursday.
The forward has 16 goals in all competitions for club and country so far this season.
