Liverpool have been chasing Jude Bellingham since he was a nine year-old junior at Birmingham City.
The Reds are eyeing the Borussia Dortmund midfielder as a priority signing for 2023.
The Daily Mail says Bellingham spent two days at their Kirkby academy while he was playing for Birmingham City's Under 11's.
Liverpool made a pitch a decade ago, when Bellingham would have been aged nine though his family opted to keep him based in Birmingham.
The Reds have since kept tabs on the 19-year-old throughout his time in Birmingham, before his move to Borussia Dortmund in 2020.
