Liverpool are quietly planning for the future during the January transfer window.

The Reds have not made any serious moves to bring in first team talent for manager Jurgen Klopp.

Given their heavy summer outlay, this winter is focused on ensuring their young players get the right loan moves.

One such player is Fabio Carvalho, who has gone from RB Leipzig to Hull City on loan.

Per Liverpool Echo, there are no plans to sign a left-back despite injuries to Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas.

The club are also not going to recruit a defensive midfielder, even though Wataru Endo is at the Asian Cup.
