Liverpool hero John Barnes says Alexis Mac Allister shouldn't be rushed back.
The Argentina midfielder is recovering from a knee injury.
"We have Curtis Jones - we've got other players who can play in that position," said Barnes to the Daily Star.
"We've still got Dominik Szoboszlai who can play anywhere. And we also have Wataru Endo - and Harvey Elliott can slot into the midfield.
"Obviously he's a loss for us but we have enough to cope."
