Liverpool are said to be closing in on a move for Ajax's Jurrien Timber this summer.
The Reds are on the hunt to improve their defence after a poor Premier League season.
Voetbal claims that interest in Timber is strong, with Manchester United in the picture.
However, the outlet adds that Liverpool are the club with the best chances of securing the rapid defender.
Timber is only 21 and has already won two Eredivisie titles under current Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag.
Presenter Wilfred Genee stated on a Dutch TV show this week: "It appears that Timber's girlfriend is looking for a house in Liverpool.
"He is also very preoccupied with it, so he will probably make a quick departure."
