Liverpool are launching a bid for Barcelona defender Jules Kounde.
The Mirror says the Reds are set to offer 50m for the France defender, who is also interesting Chelsea.
The Reds are moving for Kounde after it emerged last week he was unsettled having been played out of position by Barca coach Xavi.
However, Kounde publicly declared his commitment to Barca last week.
This hasn't put off Liverpool, though, knowing Barca need to make several major sales to ease Financial Fair Play pressure.
