Liverpool legend James Carragher believes that Trent Alexander-Arnold is at a critical junction of his career.
The right-back has come in for heavy criticism this season for his defending.
Alexander-Arnold has been defended by his teammates on numerous occasions, but the criticism continued after the Reds were dumped out of the Champions League by Real Madrid.
I truly believe Alexander-Arnold is at a crossroads and must think carefully this summer about how to evolve," Carragher wrote in his column for the Daily Telegraph.
If Trent wants to think long-term and win the trust of whoever is England's coach and even a future Liverpool manager who might see the game much differently to Klopp - he has to step up to become the complete full-back."
Alexander-Arnold is NOT in the England squad for their upcoming internationals.
