Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has reflected on his first season in Saudi Arabia.
The former Rangers and Aston Villa manager spoke after his Al-Ettifaq team finished 48 points behind the league winners Al-Hilal.
Gerrard did not have the easiest time adapting to the league and the quality of his squad.
Thanks to everyone @ettifaq club for their support this season. Together firm foundations have been built and standards set for the future," Gerrard wrote on Instagram.

There is no sense that Gerrard will be replaced, as the club is focused on getting him better players in the summer.
