Liverpool have held talks with Sporting CP midfielder Matheus Nunes this summer, it has been revealed.
A Bola says the Merseyside club 'made contact' to sound out the possibility of a move, but have chosen not to formalise any offer for the player.
The 23-year-old is available for around £42.2million this summer and there are rumours he's rejected both Wolves and West Ham in favour of a move to a Champions League side.
Nunes has been favouring Liverpool, though Manchester City may also make a move if Bernardo Silva is sold.
