Liverpool aren't expected to stand in Arsenal's way as they seek to close the signing of Porto midfielder Fabio Vieira.
Vieira is expected in London today to complete his move to the Gunners.
The Gunners are reportedly close to making the Portuguese playmaker their second signing of the summer transfer window having already announced the arrival of Sao Paulo wonderkid Marquinhos. It is suggested that the Gunners have agreed a deal worth £30m, with Vieira set to fly into London to go through the formalities of the switch and of course undergo a medical with his new employers.
Liverpool had negotiated a first refusal option for Vieira during talks with Porto for Luis Diaz in January.
However, the Reds will pass on the clause, leaving the Gunners free to complete the signing of Vieira.
