Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has no issues with the displays of attacker Cody Gakpo.

Klopp was speaking about the Dutchman, who is struggling on the goalscoring front this term.

While Klopp knows that Gakpo wants to score more often, he believes the attacker's versatility is key to his team.

Speaking on Tuesday to reporters, Klopp stated: "The numbers are 100% all right or even better but Cody had a struggle in between which was my fault.

We spoke about positions, can Cody play midfield? Yes but it is not his best position you could see that cost him confidence at times.

That will help in the long term but not in the short. I don't think he has gone under the radar.

Cody might not say it's the best season of his life but we know how good he is. Good in the air, on the ground, good finisher, smart."
