Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott expects a massive test today at Newcastle.
The two clubs are now genuine top four rivals.
"It's going to be another massive challenge," Elliott told Liverpoolfc.com. "Each and every game is going to be a challenge this season, teams are getting better and better and players that are coming in are world-class players as well. It's the Premier League, it's the best league in the world so it's always going to be tough.
"Newcastle, especially with their team and their fans and the way they set out, it's going to be another tough opponent. For us, it's about working on these things throughout the week and making sure we apply it at the weekend, which is the main thing.
"Last season we beat them away, so it's proven we can go out and do it it's just down to us to make sure we apply ourselves and hopefully get the same result."
