Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch has heaped praise on two young players this week.

Gravenberch is intent on reviving his career after leaving Bayern Munich for the Reds this summer.

Asked about talented young players, named Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber and Bayern's Jamal Musiala as standouts.

"I would maybe go for a good friend of mine, Jurrien Timber," said Gravenberch on players he'd bring to Liverpool.

"I played my whole life with him. He's like a brother to me. That's why I chose him."

Gravenberch added: "I'd go for Jamal Musiala. Jamal does crazy things in training and also in the game. He's very good for his age. I choose Jamal Musiala.

"I think he could win a Ballon d'Or once in his life. He will keep improving and get even better. There's a good chance. He's really good with his crazy dribbling."
