Liverpool midfielder James Milner may be available in the summer on a free transfer.
The former Aston Villa man is out of contract at the Anfield club, having already played 30 times this season.
While the 37-year-old has not renewed with Liverpool, he intimated that he wants to continue playing.
"It's easy to say yes after the result we had at the weekend obviously," Milner said to reporters this week, referencing a 7-0 win over Manchester United.
Per the Birmingham Mail and other sources, Milner could be in line for a move back to Villa in the summer.
Boss Unai Emery may value adding someone of his experience to his squad.
