Liverpool have placed Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount to the top of their shopping list this summer.
With just over a year to run on his current deal, talks over a new contract are continuing between Mount and Chelsea.
Football.London says watching developments are Liverpool, which are now prioritising a deal for the England international.
Chelsea would want a fee in the region of 80m to sell Mount, with claims midfielder valuations have become inflated following Enzo Fernandez's 106million move to Stamford Bridge in January.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of Mount and is excited by the prospect of him making the move to Merseyside.
