Liverpool are exploring a swap deal for Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz.
Calciomercato.com says Liverpool could swoop for Luiz as the 24-year-old has been identified as a “main target" for the Reds.
Liverpool could offer a swap deal to persuade Villa to do business. It has been claimed that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who is currently injured, could be offered as part of a potential deal to bring Luiz to Anfield.
Given Oxlade-Chamberlain's contract runs out at the end of the season, the report might be thinking a move in January is possible.
Luiz's contract at Villa Park is also set to expire in the summer.
