Liverpool are being linked with a move for Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Manu Kone.
The Reds have already made two important midfield signings in Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai.
Now it appears they are turning their attention to a more defensive minded option.
Per Quest-France, a bid for Kone could be arriving from Liverpool in the next few days.
The source states: "His [Khephren Thuram] partner in the middle, Manu Kon, who is also forfeited for the rest of the tournament, could join him [in leaving].
"The Reds are very interested in the technical profile of the Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder and intend to recruit him this summer. His transfer could therefore be completed in the coming days."
