Liverpool star Diogo Jota has revealed he is fighting to come back as soon as possible.

The Portuguese striker is set for a spell of multiple months on the sideline due to a knee injury.

Jota, who was the Premier League Play of the Month in January, had been in the best form of his life.

Another setback. I will fight to be back as soon as possible," the Liverpool attacker told his followers on X.

With Diogo, it will take months," manager Jurgen Klopp told reporters this week.

"With injuries, you have important days; day five, day 10 is then when you judge the situation again because nobody reacts in the same way and it depends on the pain level they still have.

I couldn't give you a time frame, even if I wanted to, so that's how it is."
