Liverpool striker Diogo Jota is grateful to manager Jurgen Klopp for waiting for him to return to full fitness.
Jota is back after recovering from long-term injury.
He said, "My first step was to be fit and help the team. Now we can finish in the top four. It wasn't what we wished for at the beginning of the season but it's more realistic now and the thing we can fight for and boost us for next season. When I was out, Jurgen Klopp was the kind of manager who continued giving me belief and confidence. I know he trusts me."
The Reds host Manchester United on Sunday.
"If they really believe they can win the Premier League then losing points isn't really an option," he says. "They have had a really tremendous season after a shaky start and are still involved in a lot of competitions. The opponent can certainly feel our crowd. They always help and hopefully we can help them to get excited.
"I'm not sure my record against United means a lot to what happens in this game but it's fun to see and I want to add to the number."
