Liverpool are no closer to finalising a transfer for the last midfielder they want to sign this summer.
The Reds have been very active in the market, but they have also sold most of their central midfielders from last season.
As they look to finish off their revamp in that area of the field, they have had a bid rejected by Bayern Munich for Ryan Gravenberch.
The former Ajax midfielder is a huge target for manager Jurgen Klopp, who tried to sign him last summer.
While Gravenberch would be open to the move, as it would mean regular game time, Bayern are not eager to sell.
The Bavarians still believe in the player's talent, despite using him sparingly last term.
Per TuttoMercatoWeb, a 48 million bid from the Reds has been rejected by Bayern.
