Liverpool teen Gabriano Shelton has been named in South Africa's U17 squad for the Africa Cup of Nations.
The 15 year-old Shelton, a talented right-back who lives in Norris Green, was named in a 30-man squad for the tournament.
He said, I am so proud to have been picked to represent South Africa.
"The tournament is a huge event in the football calendar and I would like to thank God for this amazing opportunity."
