Liverpool coach Barry Lewtas included two trialists in their friendly defeat to Wigan Athletic on Tuesday.
Liverpool met Wigan's senior team and were soundly beaten 6-0.
Lewtas included two unnamed trialists on the day against a Latics team which included former Reds junior Jamie Carragher Jr, the son of the Liverpool hero.
