Liverpool U21s began their Premier League 2 season on a high note on Monday.
The young Reds kicked the campaign off to the best possible start by beating their arch rivals Everton.
The Reds were 4-0 winners on Monday night in the youth derby at the Liverpool Academy.
Mateusz Musialowski and Terence Miles scored the first two goals of the game, while Tom Hill and Bobby Clark struck late on to put gloss on the scoreline.
While Everton were industrious for much of the contest, they were never on the same level as the Reds.
Everton goalkeeper and captain Billy Crellin had to make a lot of saves to keep his team in the game.
