The 18-year-old has managed six goals in 14 senior games in the 2023-2024 season so far.
Per Mucho Deporte, he has a release clause of around 26 million, but Betis are pushing him to sign a new deal.
If Diao does renew, he would still be within reach for any English side, given their financial might.
His new release clause is set to be 34.6 million, if he decides to extend his Betis contract.
