Liverpool youngster Melkamu Frauendorf's experience at the club last season will stand him in good stead this term.
The 19-year-old received a chance in the Carabao Cup to play at senior level for the second time last season.
He had previously made an appearance in the FA Cup the season before, but now wants to step up his first team role.
Frauendorf told Liverpoolfc.com: "I do, definitely. It's amazing. I can't believe it, playing in front of so many people.
"I was so nervous. Before the game especially, I was so nervous. But then as soon as you get on the pitch, you just forget it and just try to focus and give your best. That's what I did. It's important that you enjoy that time.
"I definitely want to play regularly as well, get better and get used to it more. Personally, I want to just improve myself, learn, score, assist that's what I want."
