Liverpool youngster Paul Glatzel is set to leave the club on a permanent basis.

The 21-year-old played only 15 times from the start at Tranmere Rovers last season.

However, he has played even less this term, suffering a serious hamstring injury at the start of the campaign.

Per the Liverpool Echo, the player has chosen to join former academy youngsters Jake Cain and Tom Clayton in leaving the Reds.

Glatzel has received an offer from Swindon Town, which he is set to accept.

A former Germany U18 international, he will be hoping to kick start his career in the coming months.
