
RANAU: A local man died while climbing Mount Kinabalu, here, on Tuesday, police said.
Ranau District Police Chief DSP Simiun Lomudin said the 52-year-old was reported to have collapsed and lost consciousness at KM8.3 of the mountain's summit trail.
He died at approximately 5.30am when climbers usually resume their trek to the summit after an overnight rest stop.
