The man, who runs the account @sinwantz, started out like any other vendor at a local event.

But as soon as he shared a few clips of his stall online, the crowd response spoke for itself. People were lining up, curious to try the Malaysian delicacy after seeing the buzz on TikTok.

Part of the stall’s charm came from its bright green setup and the seller himself, who wore a full Baju Melayu outfit.

This not only stood out visually but also gave the event an authentic Malaysian touch, drawing in even more people eager to give it a try.

Price didn’t stop the crowds

Despite being priced at RM10 for three sticks, the satay was such a hit that the line only grew longer as the day went on.

One woman even came looking for the seller, only to discover that everything was already sold out by the time she arrived.

1,500 sticks gone in under an hour

The man later revealed that a whopping 1,500 sticks of satay were sold out in less than an hour.

The overwhelming response left him both surprised and grateful, proving just how much locals enjoyed the dish.

Language skills made ordering easy

What made the stall even more appealing was the fact that the seller spoke fluent Mandarin.

This made it easy for customers to place orders, ask questions, and even learn a little about the dish while waiting in line.

As the videos spread across TikTok, Malaysians back home couldn’t help but feel proud. Many praised his effort in introducing local cuisine to the Chinese community, joking that he had unofficially taken satay all the way to the Great Wall of China.
