DAP’s Anthony Loke joins PH candidate Ee Chin Li at Tangkak nomination centre amid tight security and clear weather.
TANGKAK: DAP Secretary-General Anthony Loke today accompanied Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate Ee Chin Li to the nomination centre at Dewan Jubli Intan Sultan Ibrahim here.
Loke, who is also the Transport Minister, arrived at 8 am and spent some time mingling with about 100 PH supporters gathered at the Tangkak Public Recreation Park.
The group then began marching to the nomination centre, located about 50 metres from the park, at 8.20 am, chanting the slogan “Johor Ke Depan, Undi Harapan” (Johor Forward, Vote Hope).
Observations showed that the nomination process went smoothly, with tight police security in place, while the weather in Tangkak was clear and sunny.
