  • London Underground drivers, represented by the RMT union, are set to strike for 24 hours from midday on Tuesday 21 April and again on Thursday 23 April, with further action planned for May and June.
  • The RMT union accuses Transport for London (TfL) of attempting to impose a new four-day working week, a claim TfL refutes, stating the changes are voluntary and aim to improve service reliability.
  • On strike days (Tuesdays and Thursdays), services will wind down by mid-morning, with significant disruption from midday and lines finishing early; commuters are advised to complete journeys by 8pm.
  • On the mornings following strike days (Wednesdays and Fridays), Tube services will begin later, with significant disruption expected until midday before normal service gradually resumes.
  • Several lines, including parts of the Bakerloo, Central, Jubilee, Northern, Piccadilly, Victoria, and Waterloo & City lines, will have no service, though Elizabeth line, DLR, London Overground, and tram services will operate normally but are expected to be very busy.
