
Kota Kinabalu: Parti Warisan questioned why it took almost a year for the State Cabinet to approve the revival of the Lembaga Padi Sabah (LPS).
Its Vice President Terrence Siambun said the party was going to revive it with thousands of acres allotted for paddy cultivation “before it lost the State Government after 23 months through betrayal”.
“Things changed when Vietnam and India decided in May last year to either completely ban or reduce export, causing rice availability chaos in Malaysia, including Sabah.
