AWARENESS on longevity and healthy aging will be a major driver of the global market for health products, which in turn would provide raw materials suppliers such as farmers the opportunity to be part of the value chain.
Rungphech Chitanuwat, Regional Portfolio Director-Asean Informa Markets, said the role of health products and dietary supplements is changing as more consumers are becoming increasingly aware or longevity and healthy aging.
“Preventive health care is no longer a concern reserved for older generations. Younger consumers are also taking action earlier, creating the demand for products that support long-term health and well-being,” she added.
Informa Markets is staging Vitafoods Asia 2026, the premier nutraceutical event in Asia, at the Bangkok–Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) from Sept. 2 to 4, 2026.
“Thai businesses need to stay ahead of rapidly evolving consumer expectations by closely tracking emerging trends and innovations. Vitafoods Asia 2026 provides a unique opportunity to bring global knowledge, technologies, ingredients, and business connections together under one roof,” Chitanuwat said.
This year’s Vitafoods Asia is the largest to date with a net exhibit space of 20,000 square meters and over 800 participating companies.
While Thai businesses can capitalize on Vitafoods Asia 2026, the trade show also offers the chance for companies from other countries to forge business ties, and to network.
Among the Thai companies joining Vitafoods 2026 is publicly listed Specialty Natural Products Public Company Ltd. (SNPS), which has standardized Thai and Asian botanicals into extracts for the global pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, functional food, and cosmetic industries.
Also, SNPS’ subsidiary — Specialty Innovation Co. Ltd. (SI) — is into the production of functional health products, traditional medicines, and personal care goods.
Meanwhile, Nexira, founded in 1895 and based in France, has been specializing in natural and organic plant-based ingredients to manufacture anti-aging products that promote cell regeneration and mitochondrial health.
Also joining the trade show are companies offering products or standardized ingredients from plants such as matcha, turmeric, among many others, and mushrooms.
There are also companies planning to launch their products in the Philippines, such as Prime Health based in Canada, that has a line of health products and supplements.
And as pets are now treated more as family members globally, there are a few companies developing health products for cats and dogs, among others.
With the growing market for longevity and healthy aging products, the next edition of Vitafoods has already been scheduled next year in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
