  • UK Eurovision hopeful Look Mum No Computer, real name Sam Battle, has made history with his song “Eins, Zwei, Drei”.
  • His entry marks the first time in the contest's 70-year run that the UK's song is not sung exclusively in English, due to the German title forming the main chorus hook.
  • The remainder of the track is in English, but the inclusion of the German words secures Battle a unique place in Eurovision history.
  • On the song The Independent's Adam White writes: "With his mad professor hair, owlish features and penchant for big noises, LOOK MUM is all a bit 'Blue Peter does Berghain', and very, very English in a way that’s both horrendously embarrassing and oddly charming.
  • Meanwhile, PinkNews describes the song as "simultaneously the most and least British song the UK has put forward for Eurovision in years" for referencing British 1970s punk, 1980s synth-pop, and 2000s indie.
  • The Telegraph notes: " Obviously, there is a naffness to 'Eins, Zwei, Drei'. But with the best will in the world, if Battle were capable of releasing something as accomplished as Harry Styles or Dua Lipa, he would be nowhere near Eurovision."
