Manchester City midfielder Josh Adam is a target for Lorient.
The Athletic says Lorient management is already negotiating the transfer of the 18-year-old Scot.
Adam's current contract with Manchester City expires on 30 June 2024.
This season, Adam has made 18 appearances for the City youth team in all competitions and scored 1 goal.
Lorient are now owned by Bournemouth chairman Bill Foley.
