Lorient dropped plans of signing Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek on deadline day Friday.
Van de Beek was set to sign for the Ligue 1 club last week.
But L'Equipe says Lorient pulled out over attitude concerns regarding the Dutchman.
Lorient didn't appreciate his attitude towards them earlier in the summer when offered the chance to sign him on deadline day.
The two clubs had agreed a loan in mid-August, but Van de Beek refused to speak with Lorient at the time.
However, he was willing to speak with Lorient on Friday, but the French club decided against pursuing a deal.
