Newcastle United are finalising a deal with released Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius.
Karius remains a free agent after coming off contract at Liverpool this past summer.
Sky Sports says Newcastle are now close to agreeing terms with the German.
The goalkeeper has already arrived at the club's Benton base for his medical.
Newcastle have turned to Karius after Karl Darlow suffered a training ground injury on Wednesday.
