Lorraine Kelly has announced that she is to take a short break from presenting her ITV show as she shared an update about her mother.
The presenter’s mother, Anne, was admitted to hospital earlier in October after suffering a bad fall and breaking her shoulder.
Kelly added that her mother also had “terrible problems” with her eye.
In an update on Friday’s (16 October) show, Kelly said she had good news to share, revealing that her mother would be coming out of hospital.
