
SHAH ALAM: Two people died when a lorry ploughed into four vehicles at Jalan Banting-Dengkil, Sungai Manggis in Kuala Langat this morning.
Selangor fire and rescue department assistant director of operations Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said the two killed in the crash were believed to be a mother and her daughter.
He said his men received an emergency call at about 7am regarding the accident and, based on preliminary information, found that it was caused by a lorry which crashed into four cars.
In a statement, Mukhlis said three people, comprising two women in their 20s and 40s and a 10-year-old girl, all believed to be from the same family, were in one of the cars.

“The other victim suffered injuries to her legs and was taken to the Banting Hospital,” he said.
