One person has been killed and several others injured after a lorry collided with a local train in Poland, the PAP news agency reported on Monday.
The accident happened at an unmanned level crossing in Garbatka about 50 kilometres north of Poznan in western Poland.
"The lorry did not brake before the level crossing and drove into the side of the approaching train," Infrastructure Minister Dariusz Klimczak wrote on X.
A spokesman for the local fire brigade said the impact caused the lorry to catch fire. The lorry driver was killed. Several carriages of the train derailed and 18 passengers suffered minor injuries.
The rail line from Poznan to Pila was initially closed.
