
Tuaran: A man was killed when the lorry he was driving skidded and crashed on Jalan Ranau, near Kg Kelawat in Tamparuli, on Sunday.
Raimon Wadang, 33, was pronounced dead by a medical officer at the scene following the 7.40pm incident.
Tuaran District Fire and Rescue Station Chief Mohamad Nor Amit said a team was deployed to the scene after receiving a distress call at 7.46pm.
“The team had to use special equipment to assist the man who was pinned on the driver’s seat of the trailer,” he said, adding the body was handed over to the police for further action.
